“Great location near Arnold and Calavaras Big Trees. The cabin was set up well, the beds were very comfortable and showers worked great. Both the kitchen, bathrooms were clean upon arrival. However, I felt overall the cabin needs a very deep cleaning. I didn’t notice any smells, but there were so many items in the cabin that needed dusting. “This is such a wonderful property for a large group! The layout is perfect, there is a ton of space, super cozy, and extremely well stocked (and organized!) with anything that you could possibly need. It is clear that the owner has put a lot of time and thought into this property, and we were very appreciative that they are doing such an impressive job of maintaining the home and keeping it nice (despite being a rental property for large groups). “We really enjoyed our stay in this tranquil, comfortable home. It has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked and the beds are comfy. We loved the view of the trees from the living room. The owners were great to communicate with. We were lucky to catch the fall colors in the area and enjoyed several visits to Big Trees State Park. “We needed a place near the Snowflake Lodge for only one night. This place fit the bill. For some reason this booking never showed up in the VENMO app. That made it very difficult to get check-in instructions. Also, there was no cell reception for T-Mobile and Verizon. So download EVERYTHING you might need before you get there. WiFi at the property was reasonable. Small irritations: Three light bulbs were burned out, we found one replacement bulb. Was not told dishwasher wasn't working……

“All the comforts of home and well stocked. We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio in the morning and evening. We used the BBQ grill, and it was very clean. We highly recommend this place. They do ask that you take off your shoes as you come in so that the carpet doesn’t get dirtied. I recommend bringing a pair of slippers for inside. ”
