Lots to say about this little house. My husband and I wanted something close to everything and wanted privacy away from the crowds. This tiny cozy house met our expectations. Although we drove everywhere, the house is walking distance to a gas station, shops and the trolley stop.
The house is locate closed to a main road, but you drive on a short gravel road to a bit of a wooded area which was well kept. Outside gets pretty dark at night, but there is a motion sensor light to help you when you get there at night and there is a light on the front porch. It was very quiet and relaxing during the day and night.
Although we spent most of our days exploring and hiking, we did put the kitchen to good use. Inside was comfortable, clean and almost had all the necessities. No dishwasher, which was ok with us. Some little things we could have used are a full size mirror, measuring cups/spoons and maybe a clothes steamer or iron.
The stairs are a little challenging, especially if you need to get up in the middle of the night, so watch your head. We didn’t have a problem with them, but worth mentioning. The bed was comfortable. The AC upstairs is a window unit that does not get very cold at all, we just kept it colder downstairs when we went to bed.
I also must mention that although this place is pet friendly (which is great), it didn’t smell like pets. My husband and I are allergic to cats and dogs and we didn’t have a problem with allergies.
We really enjoyed this little house and the experience of it all. We are already planning on staying there again :).
