“The boathouse is quiet, clean and peaceful. Checking in was seamless and communication with Sue was as easy as it gets. My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and couldn’t have asked for more! Plenty of things to do in the area or stay on the property and enjoy the kayaks, swimming or relaxing on the docks with a beverage. Will definitely be coming back again! ”

“The Hillman House was amazing place for our multigenerational family reunion. Lots of space to connect, and room for everyone to eat together at the extended size kitchen table. Large number of private bedrooms to accommodate all is very unusual to find and beds were very comfortable with quality linens. Had lots of fun in the indoor gym playing pickleball and other games. The paddleboards were great for on the lake and there was a nice sandy beach area for the little kiddos to play. Can't……

“The cabin was clean, organized, and well stocked with towels, TP, paper towels etc. Air Con worked REALLY WELL. Window units, but they cooled that little cabin down considerably. Getting to the water is the only complaint I have. You have to cross the road you drive in on to get to the water. No crosswalk nearby so you're stuck waiting for a gap in the HEAVY traffic to run across the road to the dock. There is no other way to get to the water. It's a SUPER busy road with cars going at……

“Everything was just as described. And more than enough to keep you entertained, games, ping pong, darts. Kitchen was amazing and well equipped, (so much so we came home an ordered the same toaster, so cool). Beds were very comfortable. It was very relaxing just enjoying the lake and wildlife from the deck. Mike was very responsive for our inquiries. Lake toys were used by everyone in the family. Nice restaurant and grocery store in the town of Garrison also.”

“We have stayed at this townhome 4 times and all have been very good. The owners made recent updates which were very nicely done and enhanced the experience. The location is on the lake, across from the pickleball courts and close to the golf clubhouse. The lake side yard has plenty of room for yard games. ”

“Inside beautiful and spotless, outside needs work. Cedar is full of spiderwebs, garage and patios need cleaning. Enjoyed the back yard river and camp fires. Mattresses all poor. Spacious. ”

“The property is amazing. About 25 minutes away from Brainerd, but still fun and quiet and beautiful. Would’ve loved to been earlier in the year so we could’ve used the boat. Definitely a nice place to stay.”
