“Pelican Lake Motel was fantastic. The outside look is deceiving. Yes, it's an old building. I loved it as soon as I saw it. The room was splendid. Everything inside is brand new. “It was a nice cabin. We were planning to use it for a snowmobiling trip, but there was not enough snow, so there was no snowmobiling, but can’t do anything about the weather. We held off canceling till the last moment, in hopes that we would still get snow, but no luck. So we still used it for a party weekend around Crandon area, BTW, I recommend eating at Longshots Pearson Smokehouse (just a 20 minute drive south), great food, nice place w/ banquet hall that has a bunch of pool tables and dart……

“We had an excellent time at this cottage. Lake was clean with sandy bottom and shallow enough for kids (littles 2 & 5) to swim and play.
