“We had a fantastic stay at Sonesta Ocean Point. The property was gorgeous and the food was all delicious and there was plenty to do. And the staff was very kind and attentive, always asking if there was anything we needed. If I were ever to return to St. Martin, I would definitely stay there again. The only 2 issues were not having any hot water one of the days and there were some tiny ants on the floor of our room, not hundreds but maybe a couple dozen real small ones. “This was my first time out of the country. My birthday trip was amazing. It was a great experience for me being only 26. Everyone was welcoming all the way down to the other guest. It was mostly an older crowd but I did not mind they were still a VIBE. My room was the beach front room. The other rooms are a little more updated but no complaints here. The taxi services are very helpful. Try to explore the island like my cousin and I did. The food was amazing and I really enjoyed the pool side……

“This hotel was the best vacation we have ever taken! The property is so centrally located you do not need a car whatsoever. Several gorgeous beaches to choose from minutes away walking along the shoreline or an extremely clean pool at the resort. All nearby restaurants and bars have excellent happy hours daily. “Great property for cleanliness and well looked after grounds. Close to a market, restaurants and a few stores. Only issue is rooms are dated and lack spare outlets. Need a bit of updating. I’d still return though as the positives outweigh the negatives. St Maarten is a wonderful island for a vacation. People are friendly and I never felt unsafe at all. ”

“I loved my week at Baker’s Suites. Latoya was so helpful—she booked several tours for me; she recommended local restaurants; and referred me to Anastacio, who provided taxi/ shuttle services for the guests. Anastacio drove me to my tour meeting spots and basically, wherever I needed to go. He was so cool!!! Latoya was wonderful—her personality was so infectious!!! There were several restaurants within 100 ft of the hotel, and a convenience store next door. Definitely loved my stay at……
