“Clean and cozy cabin in the forest. We will come back.”

“Clean and well-stocked with a sauna (it took us a long time to get the fire going as it had been raining and the wood was wet but it was a fun experience).”

“Our first time in the Adirondack area - I picked Jay - no particular reason - other than the house was close enough to all of the things we wanted to see and do. The house was fabulous, the area very nice, easy to get around. Everything you needed to feel at home - the beds were AMAZING. thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.”

“Place was cozy & amazing. I love staying at the place. Planning to visit in next year will definitely try to book this place again. Good price & location. Its about 20 min away whiteface mountain around 30 min from Hog George Fall and about 45 to 50 min lake placid. One thing I feel that should be there is a fan on loft area for flow of air. There is bug ceiling fan in living room but not that much helpful. Otherwise everything is perfect.”

“This was our second time staying at this lovely property. It is comfortable and has many amenities, such as the fire pit and picnic table, as well as Netflix for rainy days. It is a short walk to the town lake, and a short drive to Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid. Highly recommended. ”

“This was my first hiking trip in the Adirondacks and this little house was just perfect for my visit. All the comforts of home from the welcoming living room to the nicely stocked kitchen to the beautiful outdoor setting. Very quiet neighborhood in the woods but easy to get to the places I wanted to explore. About a 20 minute drive to Lake Placid. Enjoyed the gas fireplace! Can’t wait to come back next fall because there is so much to do in this area! ”

“My husband and I stayed in the Balsam Cabin with two of our dogs. We were there on a last vacation with my oldest dog. It was a great place, very dog friendly and easily accessed by my Sr. dog. We took some great pictures out in back of the cabin which I loved. Close to Olympic training center, short drive to Mirror Lake plenty to do around and great places to eat. Cabins were clean and homey. Check in was a breeze. Will definitely stay again”
