“Our room had a rooftop patio which was great for winding down after a day at the beach. Very good local taverna options. Local beach is organized and sandy (no water shoes needed) with warm waters. Some good snorkeling for the kids. Great pool too.”

“The property is as described and the photos were accurate. The massive downside which made us not recommending the property was the misleading “breakfast vouchers”. You receive every day a voucher that can be used in the tavern next door which offers a breakfast buffet. What was not explained and we got surprised during checkout is that breakfast is 15€ per person per day. So 30€ for a boiled egg, cheese, Greek yogurt and OJ from concentrate. “To start with the (only a few) positives:
- The property manager was forthcoming and friendly.
- Location of the property is ok: Elafonisos is 10 minutes by car + 10 minutes by ferry away; Kastania cave, Petrified forest and Monemvasia are all 30-40 minutes away. The nearest town, Neapoli, is 5 mins away (all by car). However, the neighbourhood itself is less than scenic, a dirt coastal road leads you to the property. Nowhere to go on foot. The coast is dirty/littered in many places.
