“This was an economy minded plain jane hotel. It was very clean, outstanding service and friendly staff. Furthermore, it was k9 friendly. Plenty of info available on community and local activities. “This is a charming place to stay. Note that the building is old - built from redwoods and insulated with redwood sawdust - so you can hear everything. I slept with earplugs and over-ear headphones playing soft music and had an excellent night sleep - best of my trip. Somehow they have managed to have beds that are very soft, but it also didn’t mess up my back. “Our second stay here. The rooms are alittle dated, but overall it fine. For travelers looking just for an overnight stay, its a good deal. The only thing we would change is the wooden headboard were not comfortable with the pillows the room provided. It was hard to sit up in bed and enjoy TV. ”

“This motel is wonderful. Beautiful..loved the atmosphere, the view from motel, the light show and price..all wonder ful..only thing i m not to thrilled about is ice is across diveway in another building that and when i called i was told there was a tub in room..however no tub..but i am highly recommending this motel”

“We visited this property in the winter for our visit to nearby Redwood National Park. This cute property is tucked away nicely amongst the trees and even comes with its own chicken and rooster population. The converted barn was a little cold on our first day but the space heater Aneka left heated the room up very nicely. Communication with Aneka was a breeze and she was very responsive over text. She was also a lifesaver when my car wouldn't start on my last day and even drove me to a hardware……
