“A Louisiana native, I booked the property the weekend of my wedding at Palmetto's to a Massachusetts groom. We stayed in the house with his closest friends, and got permission to use the location for an extended family picnic on Sunday. My husband's people had minimal experience in Louisiana, and the grounds did not disappoint.
