“It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. ”

“We had a great stay in Newport. The unit was close to downtown, easy to walk to. The apartment was so neat, clean and updated. Nice touch to have coffee, sugar, 1/2 and 1/2. Just wish there was better parking. The streets were extremely crowded but all in all would 100% rent again. Thank you. ”

“We loved our stay at Lookout Loft, it was super clean, exactly as pictured on VRBO, comfortable, easy, clear directions for parking and check in. The location is fabulous, right above a store on Thames St, so we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. We had no issues with outside noise at night, we all slept great! “We loved our stay. Although it's in the middle of what's probably one of the busiest & areas in Newport, the location was great for us. We could walk to lots of the sites & restaurants. For the mansions & cliff walk we took the free trolley that's main hub is in walking distance of the Inn. The trolley goes to lots of the points of interest in town. Staff was great. Room had everything we needed. The rooftop deck is great to sit (possible with an adult beverage) & watch the harbor, boats, sunset……

The property owner even called us earlier in the day to let us know we could check in early and call if we need anything. The place was spotless, adorable and perfectly fit the 4 of us. “This property was perfect for us! We visited with my family (2 adults, 1 child) and my senior parents. Easy walking to downtown and to the mansions, plenty of space. We appreciated the parking availability in the back. This place has 2 levels and 3.5 bathrooms - plenty of room to sleep all of us (my daughter slept just fine on the pull-out sofa bed). Super clean, big, modern bathrooms, great communication. We love Newport and would definitely stay here again. I will warn that the street noise……
