“New furniture in room was nice & bed was comfy , definitely need an extra blanket though . Kitchen wasn’t clean , light globes need replacing , floors needed cleaning & outside was very dirty . Fantastic staff & food at the pub . ”

“We visited from the US as a family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters. We loved the remoteness of the property and seeing the kangaroo & echidna right out the window. If you’re a bird watcher, there is plenty to see! Accommodations were top notch. Excellent quality linens and really comfortable beds. We would stay again if visiting KI in the future. We brought all our groceries from Adelaide which worked out really well. Such a nice welcome tray of local from Yael, the host & we had to go……

“Loved our stay here, fire lit by owner for our arrival. All the amenities you could need, surrounded by picturesque green rolling hills and a 3 minute walk to picture perfect snelling beach.

“You can try this homestead if you like wildlife, especially you can feed kangaroos. No wifi so you won't have connection in FB, whatsapp emails.....etc. If you want a quiet environment and try a real forest-feel cottage, it's worth to try. Also, no air-condition is available but it really does not need air-condition as it is quite cold at night and we even used additional blanket.

“From the moment we turned town the driveway to Wedgetail Down we felt like we were in a movie set. The property is stunning and Betty and Peter thought of every detail and little touch to make us feel welcome. Everything you need to cook and bbq is there, the bed is so comfortable, the rain shower so nice after a long day of hiking. The house is fascinating and absolutely gorgeous.
