The home has an inviting stair-free entryway and porch. Before you even enter the home you may catch a glimpse through the windows of the beautiful desert landscape that lies beyond.

You will enter into the main living area of the home where you will find a large leather sectional with chaise, a cozy spot for eight or more friends to talk and remember good times, warm by the fire, or stream some of your favorite shows. There is a large, open kitchen with custom cabinetry, granite countertops, Thermador appliances, trash compactor, and plenty of room to continue the conversation while preparing meals or just sitting at the bar and “helping.” Grab a book, puzzle, or a game and make yourself at home.

Meals can be shared at the dining table with seating for 8 or 9 or if you brought a lot of friends the game table can seat 4-6 and the bar will seat 4. This heart of the house is perfect for sharing meals, conversations, games, and just enjoying being together. Double French doors to the patio and tall windows give you unobstructed views of the desert and Lake Powell.

A large, covered patio can be enjoyed early in the morning as the sun rises above Navajo Mountain (yoga anyone?), during those warm summer days when a bit of shade feels good with an overhead fan, or watching a desert storm and taking in the fragrance of the rain and sage. After watching the sunset on the distant cliffs, take in the amazing stars and find your place in the Milky Way.

This home’s community is 360 degrees surrounded by national park land. It is the perfect remote retreat and home base for exploring nearby Skylight Arch, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, The Wave, Lee’s Ferry, Navajo Bridge, Toadstool Hoodoos–all within an hour’s drive of this home. Or launch from here for longer day trips to White Pocket, Grand Canyon North Rim, Goosenecks, Monument Valley, Grosvenor Arch, Bryce Canyon (via Cottonwood Canyon / Grand Staircase Escalante). After exploring, come back home to relax or kayak at Lone Rock beach on Lake Powell.
