"I had a very pleasant stay at the Seven Gables Inn. The room was big (213) and clean. Huge marble bath and heated toilet. Some of the hotel needs a paint job or renovation but the room was great. People friendly and made an extra effort. My colleague stayed in a different room half the size and was not happy so now I understand the mixed reviews on the site. Ask for room 213 or equivalent. "

"This was such a delightful stay! My husband and I enjoyed the history, decor, breakfast, and the friendly staff members. The fact they have been able to maintain the history of the building is absolutely amazing. We loved the fun decor and for once didn’t mind staying and hanging out in the hotel. Shout to the hazelnut coffee at breakfast! That was some of the best coffee!"

"Hot tub was tiny, and the soundproofing between floors and rooms was non-existent. We were above the pool and below people with concrete feet. Not restful at all. Lobby was also hard to find and not well marked. Breakfast was meh and lacked many options. I've stayed in many cheaper hotels that offered much more. "
