“We made our way to the place and were greeted once we arrived (late due to heavy traffic), and given the grand tour of the place. It was lovely from the outset, and was the perfect base as we explored the area. The hot tub was a pleasant relief after spending the days adventuring, and Trigger and Spanky (the mini donkeys were always affable and ready for treats!). We had what we needed and some, and it was overall a very comfortable space to crash, and the bike ride to Ventura Beach (9ish……

“We loved our stay here! The living room was our favorite spot to hang out with everyone. Very cozy couch and the fireplace was great for the colder nights. There is so much space in this house. There were only 4 of us so the downstairs kind of went unused but would be perfect for an extra family if you’re traveling with serval. Communication with the property management was easy and great. Loved the little tar removal kit downstairs as some of us did get a little tar on our feet from the sand.……

“Great property with a few exceptions. Sliding windows facing ocean need to be cleaned, would help if a squeegee were available. Need reading lights in all bedrooms, including living area so you don’t need to turn on overhead lights at night. Definitely need a booklet with house instructions for using all appliances including heater and oven. Would be very beneficial if all bedrooms had luggage racks. The shower door in the bathroom on the 2nd level across from the queen bed was off track,……

“Everything was perfect”

“There was a good vibe and the backyard was really nice. The hot tub was used a couple of time. Great location to the beach and the grocery store. My son and I walked there to do some shopping. Note: the guitar on the wall was missing the 6th string, but my son was still able to play Jack Johnson song 😊”

“We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with our family. There was room for everyone. The house is has something for everyone, boggy board, bikes, surfing, games, and puzzles.”

“Great location. House well equipped. However family room on lower floor, kitchen and dining area plus 2 bedrooms up steep stairs. Not ideal with young children. Listing was accurate, but further details sent by host suggested there was a hot tub. Host explained that the information was ‘generic’ to several properties. This was misleading and unfortunate.”

“For the past 6 years, I rent a Ventura beach house for an early family Christmas weekend. Family from Solvang to San Diego meet up with our Ventura family members to celebrate and enjoy time together. This was the first time we rented the Beach Bungalow. It was exceptional! Although a little further from the beach than other stays, it was perfect!
