We stayed 4 nights while hiking and hitting the wineries and cider houses. It was nice, cute and well stocked. For us, it was pretty much centralized to all of our activities but there isn't anything within walking distance but a short drive to town for pizza or the grocery store.

This quaint apartment is perfectly located between Cayuga and Seneca Lakes giving to easy access to both wine trails. The apartment itself is well appointed, neat and clean. The hosts are wonderful people and very responsive to any communications. We would not hesitate to book with them again should our travels bring us back to the area!

Nice renovated space was perfectly with ample space for cooking, eating, lounging and sleeping. We had to enjoy it more than we anticipated as it rained for most of our stay and we found ourselves inside.

Lovely stay!
The property was just as described and very clean. It was perfect for my husband and I who were looking to just take it easy and relax. The area is very quite and we hardly heard any traffic at all - twice there was an Amish horse and buggy going by but we only saw that because we were outside at the time. Enjoyed finding out the history of the church and were amazed at how they have fixed it into living spaces. We would definitely enjoy staying again if we are up in the Finger Lakes area!

Off season in Ovid
My husband and I originally planned to stay in December but due to health issues had to move the trip to February, which the owners were kind enough to accommodate. They met us at check in and told us a little about the property and the area. This property is right on the road and pretty much right in the middle of Cayuga and Seneca lakes (about 30 min to Watkins Glen and 25 to Geneva). The property was perfect for the two of us and was very clean and well kept inside.

Very clean and lovely place to stay in the finger lakes
I have to say this place was very clean and neat! Plenty of space for my daughter and my long weekend! Bed was comfortable, and kitchen stocked with cleaning supplies. The only negative I could say is that he listing says central A/C, but it does not have that. The owners did put in a window unit in the bedroom the third night we stayed as it as getting very humid. It did cool down the rest of the place ok.

A 'Gorges' Experience
A peaceful & picturesque Vrbo nestled between two lakes in Central New York was our home away from home. This beautifully designed unit was a dream to live in. It featured warm woodwork throughout and plenty of light streaming in the windows. A well-maintained woodsy walk skirted the property. Greater adventures awaited a scenic drive to wineries and state parks located nearby. One is never too far from the many gorges and waterfalls in the Finger Lakes. An inviting vacation from start to finish made us want to return.

Peaceful & Picturesque
What a 'great find' tucked away between two Finger Lakes in Central NY State! Nestled along a wooded area for walking, we found our accommodations cheerful and charming. Everything needed was at our finger tips or a simple ride away. We enjoyed a brief jaunt to the gorge in Watkins Glen for adventurous hiking. Traveling to nearby Ithaca was easy with opportunities for wonderful wine tasting, delightful dining experiences, and yummy homemade ice cream. No shortages of waterfalls and gorges in either direction, and no two are alike. It is a 'gorges' opportunity to relax in the beauty of nature that is truly unique and peaceful.

Small apartment in old church building
This old church building is set in a rural farming community and has sevearl aparments in the same building. The hosts were very kind to come and check in once I had arrived and make sure all was well. The unit I stayed in was neat and clean but it did smell like a smoker had lived/stayed there previously. Thankfully there was a window AC unit in the bedroom to keep the air moving. I was traveling for work and the internet/wifi access was great for online meetings, etc. The area was quite too. The extra fees that were requied after booking, coupled with the requirment to do some of the cleaning before leaving, made this place a little too expensive and too much work to fit in my work travel budget for the future. If your budget and time allow this could be a great place to vacation though.

Beautiful accomodations in a converted church in a quiet, rural location.
Cozy apartment with charming quirks, eg. kitchen is the former choir loft. Plenty of outdoor space for star-gazing. It’s situated close to lakes, waterfalls, gorges, wineries, and farmland- a little piece of heaven in the Finger Lakes Region!
