Great Location on the River next to Hot Springs Pool
Nicely updated, clean townhome across the parking lot from the Hot Springs Pool. Great location with easy access to Main Street, perimeter trailhead and waterfall hikes. Loved the mountain views and relaxing on the deck by the river. Host is responsive and quick to address maintenance issues but was disappointed that the hot water heater kept tripping and we did not have hot water for the majority of our 3-night stay. While I completely understand plumbing issues may occur without warning, hot water is a necessity and the only consideration the host offered was a discount on a future stay.
Pro tip: Keep outdoor trash bin in the garage so hot springs pool patrons can’t use it to dump their trash and leave it unsecured for the bears to rummage through. We had an unpleasant visit from a neighbor reminding us that this is bear country and had to clean-up garbage that was dumped in our can by pool patrons and/or previous guests.
