Really clean, conveniently located. It took 8 minutes to get hot water for the shower and the room is very exposed to street noise. Lovely staff. Overall great value for money but I’d bring earplugs next time!

The room was modern and perfect for our quick stay. The food was also decent, but we were hoping for at least a protein like eggs or cheese in the breakfast selection. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we got a deal at an affordable price. We will surely recommend this place to our friends who wants a quick and accessible tour in Downtown, Ottawa.

The staff are just wonderful, particularly Wellie, who spent 45 minutes at least getting our tv connected. The rooms are very clean and spacious, the king-sized beds and bedding are really comfortable, and the kitchen is a great bonus for us. I’ve stayed here twice, once alone and once with my kids, and it’s lovely for both. My son and I spent an hour in the basement games room in the morning while my teen slept in, and we played air hockey and foozball and just enjoyed the couches and large space. Lots of good restaurants and the Rideau Centre super nearby for food. We love the Arlo!

The gym has basic equipment, good for the purpose. Rooms were very clean with good amenities. You can virtually cook in your room if you choose to. The front desk guys were super friendly. I had a problem with the TV and they quickly changed the room for me. Breakfast was equally good. My only challenge is there's no telephones in the rooms so I had to always get down to the front desk for assistance and also that there's no onsite parking, even though there are paid parking lots around On the whole I will rate this facility 9/10. You will not regret staying there

Lobby, breakfast area, and gym appeared very new and clean. The rooms were also very clean, but it seemed like some appliances had been through some use. Not a problem though, everything still functioned well. In the kitchen portion of the room, dishwasher pods, sponges, and soap are provided. Basic utensils (and more) are also provided. Overall, this place was a great value. Cheaper than other hotels in the area but very nice.

The staff were wonderful. The suite was clean. Where they could do much better is the continental breakfast - it was not well thought out in terms of guests with any dietary restrictions: Available were one type of muffin - chocolate, fruit turnovers also 1 type only, There were no cereals, toast or bagels as options. There were a few low quality yoghurt options and a few bananas, apples and oranges.

Arlo had just reopened under Best Western when we stayed. We were in town for a funeral but we were also walking distance to Winterlude, the canal and any other amenity or activity we could want. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite at their suggestion, the gracious hotel manager even took our bags up to our room with us. Rooms are well appointed, stylish, clean. Huge games room in the basement that we didn’t use but checked out. Would definitely come back with our kids. Grab and go breakfast, staff always smiling, great music playing every time we came in and out. Cannot recommend enough. Just the upgrade the old Sonder needed. Thank you Arlo! We will be back.
