We found it perfect for our needs (great bedroom and kitchen and an awesome rooftop patio and upstairs living room). The owner Stefania was really friendly and was extremely helpful. “We were in the apartment for two weeks and loved it. The remodeling of our unit was obviously done with taste and attention to detail. The location could not have been better unless you require a view but we were perfectly happy with “our little courtyard” and the proximity to everything. The only wrinkle was water pressure . “We LOVED our stay in Ortigia. The location of the apartment was ideal. Our host was charming and quite simply outstanding. Sebastiano made us feel welcome and at home. He provided an excellent orientation to the apartment, recommended an exceptional assortment of fine restaurants and helped ensure that we enjoyed our stay. He was always available and quick to assist in any eventuality including the loss of a credit card. We arrived as his guests and left as friends.”

“This is a perfect apartment for travelers. It is ideally located off the main piazza in Ortigia, convenient to walking everywhere in Ortigia and close to pick up points for Taxi and Uber to explore Syracuse. The apartment is clean, bathrooms modern and each room opens to the streets below for morning coffee or enjoying the sounds of the city. “3 friends in 70s stayed for a week as part of a longer trip to Sicily and Naples. The property is well placed close to the sea and it’s easy to walk to restaurants and other attractions. The accommodation is quite quirky. It’s located over 3 floors and the steps are quite steep and winding so not suitable for very young children or people with mobility problems. We managed just fine and loved the roof terrace, it must be particularly useful in the summer, we were there in February but still got……

“The apartment is clean, tidy and very peaceful. It was lovely staying there and the host, Adelaide was very helpful. It is well located on Ortigia and is close to all the local attractions, including the many restaurants. The only, very minor issue during the holiday, was when the wi-fi did not work for several days.”

“Was there for 5 nights in October. Still very warm, air worked great. Spacious and tasteful decor. While I don’t cook while in Italy, there were dishes, fridge and counter/chairs for snacks, wine and contemplation … Can I live here forever? Because of gated courtyard, it was quiet and I felt like a local. Lovely neighbor who I would see around town. Seriously loved every moment 🍷❤️🇮🇹”

Quand vous rentrez le soir avec votre sac de plage + les courses + les bouteilles d'eau c'est très pénible surtout pour des personnes + ou - âgées. “Even though we had booked two weeks at a beach resort in Giardini-Naxos we still opted to come here for an overnight stay to get more from our visit to Ortigia/Siracusa than you can from just a day trip. Perfectly situated, close to everything and still on a nice and calm enough street. Best breakfast that we had in our two weeks in Sicily. Everybodys' reviews speak of the jams but really, you NEED to try them! Great host with good English, but still enough patience to also let me practise my……
