Open live wires, leftover feces and toxic waste welcomed us
We stayed here for over two weeks in August and September 2024, and it was a complete disaster. The apartment was unsafe, unhygienic, and poorly maintained.
1. Check-In Issues: The landlord ignored our request for early access, leaving us unable to settle our child.
2. Filthy Conditions: Despite a "sanitary seal," one toilet had fecal remnants. The landlord dismissed it, claiming it "couldn't happen."
3. Hazards Everywhere: Paint buckets were left accessible to kids, exposed wires were near beds, and power outlets were broken.
4. Major Repairs Needed: The balcony door wouldn’t lock, the oven was broken, the AC was unbearably loud, and the shower shed paint.
5. No Security: The front door lock battery died despite prior notice, leaving us unable to secure the apartment. I had to buy and replace the batteries myself.
6. Fire Alarm Chaos: A faulty fire alarm woke us in the middle of the night, costing us a night’s sleep and an entire day. The landlord claimed it was "out of their responsibility."
7. Zero Accountability: We documented everything with photos and shared them, but the landlord refused responsibility, instead threatening us with baseless fines for “smoking” or “checking out late.”
8. No Real Compensation: We were offered a mere $50 for all this, which we declined. The landlord then directed us to VRBO to handle the issues.
Conclusion: Avoid this place at all costs. It’s unsafe, unclean, and the landlord is completely unhelpful.
