“We had a wonderful time joining family and staying in this cozy home for a few days. Prior to check-in, the owner gave us more specific, helpful directions as to the exact location. Walking distance to the lake, firepit available for use near shore, chairs to use outside, and a porch with outside seating was very handy. We had plans within Syracuse for one day and stayed at the house another. Plenty of games available. We will definitely consider staying here again. Small suggestions to improve……

“House was perfect for our needs -- a long parents weekend visit to Colgate. Not exactly Colgate adjacent, but convenient to the airport, Syracuse and right on Lake Oneida and 30 min to Colgate. Just down the road from Verona Beach State Park and it's possible to keep walking to Sylvan Beach -- and with perfect fall weather it was an amazing walk. House was great to cook in and made for a fine remote work location. I only wish we'd made better use of the she shed /man cave b/c it is an awesome……

“The apartment was the perfect space for a longer vacation. Plenty of room for three of us without feeling crowded and able to be spread out. “Had a great weekend meeting up with my siblings and their families and getting to stay together in this cozy house. We had plenty of space for 6 adults and 4 kids. The house is so well stocked (towels, sheets, pillows, blankets, kitchen supplies—even pizza stones!) we didn’t wish for anything. The neighborhood was great, had a nice walk around Caz. The hosts were great, responded quickly to inquiries and checked in making it easy to ask any small questions we had. Would definitely stay here……

“This was our 40th year vacationing at Sylvan Beach. Our first year was at the Oneida and several years since. We have witness many remodels of the property over the year. We enjoy the location and the access to the beach. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. Unfortunately, there is a major issue with the upstairs shower leaking into the downstairs bathroom, making the floor dangerous and flooding the light fixture and making it short out. I would recommend that more towel fixtures……
