Comfortable, clean and pretty view

This house is very comfortable and clean and well stocked. The view is quite nice and the soaking tub was a treat. The location is within convenient driving distance to both Oceanside and Tillamook. The only downside is no walkable access to the beach and no place to walk around at all except the streets of the little neighborhood. But Tunnel Beach is less than a 5 minute drive so location is still very nice for those who don’t mind driving.

Comfortable house - great view and amenities

This was such a very comfortable and loved having access to the garage. Nice quiet neighborhood. Views from the house bedrooms toward the beach rocks were really pretty and got some great sunset photos from here. Glad for the washer/dryer and soaps were plentiful.

Holiday Home

We had the fortune of staying at this home over the Thanksgiving holiday. When planning a trip like ours, renting a home can be a wildcard. Is the location convenient? Will the kitchen be well appointed? Will there be enough space for everyone? Will the host be responsive if we have any issues? During our holiday weekend we found this home, perfectly located to explore many parts of the coast from Newport to Astoria. When it came time to prepare our holiday meals, the kitchen was more than a well appointed. In fact, there were doubles of many kitchen tools that we needed. As far as space goes, the home’s three bedrooms and three baths were more than perfect for our small group of three adults and two children. We originally planned to have two more adults join us. If they had, they would have easily joined without making the space feel too full. Finally when we had an issue with a guest bedroom light, the host and the owner were both responsive and gracious. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Beautiful, relaxing and comfortable home

We went for a weekend and loved our time in Stormwatcher. The house is well laid out, with spaces for gathering and affording alone time. The kitchen is extremely well stocked - they thought of everything you might need. The beds are comfortable and the views are spectacular. The neighborhood is very quiet and the cute town of Oceanside is moments away.

Great if you like living out of your suitcase

House was not clean, needs a really good deep clean. Furniture was very old, All the dressers and closet were full of old linens so there was no where to put your clothes in any of the rooms, dryer was broke so couldn’t use it. BBQ was a cheep charcoal grill said you needed code to get it out but was sitting in the garage. Light above bed downstairs came on randomly and woke us up through the night. Wasn’t very impressed in general I wouldn’t recommend it or stay again.

Nice place with lots of room

Mom (who's a very active 91) and we 2 girls made a last minute decision to book a place in Oceanside so Mom could enjoy the coast and eat at Rosanna's again like she and Dad used to, and how we 3 have enjoyed together also. October is a great time to go, though the fog wasn't very cooperative this trip. We still had intermittent good views of the 3 Arches rocks from the 2 balcony decks, and the 2 levels of the house have us each our own space to get cozy. BONUS it is less than a mile to Rosanna's and the Blue Agate. Everything you might need is in the main kitchen and the lower level kitchenette has a microwave and fridge, though no other kitchen items. The beds were pretty comfy, especially the main one (the other 2 were a little hard). Overall the house was clean, with some areas that might need some attention for allergy sufferers (ceiling fans, upper walls come to mind). A couple light bulbs were out, the heater in a couple rooms didn't work and both deck doors didn't lock (they said they're scheduled for some repairs soon though). The owners also forgot to let us know that the garage door openers had gone missing so that made going in and out of the garage a bit tricky necessitating one of us to go up the 2 flights of outside steps to go in the house and then run down the inside steps into the garage to hit the opener button. And again, in reverse, for when we were leaving each time. It became kinda funny. Would we stay there again? Absolutely!! Small inconveniences on a last minute booking are understandable. And the house rents at a great price!

Very spacious, excellent view, quiet neighborhood

Comfortable beds and plenty of towels provided for a family of 4 adults. Situated a couple of blocks from the ocean and was conveniently located near many points of interest. Tillamook is an easy drive for groceries, meals and other needs that may arise. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pans. Nice that we were able to take advantage of on-site laundry so we could pack lighter.

Great view

Plenty of space and very comfortable for our family of 4 adults. Beautiful view! Love the newer floors - great improvement over the carpet that was pictured. Enjoyed walking the beach at Oceanside Beach State Park and had a delicious dinner at The Schooner. Glad we found this place!

Worth every penny

Great view, very clean house, variety of kitchen utensils is available , tons of games, books, blankets, chairs . Three bedrooms plus living room couches will be great for a group of 8 people or more. Host is very responsive. Tillamook is 15 minutes away . Beaches are about 5-10 minutes away. Definitely worth every penny.

Nice house for a family getaway

Spotless kitchen & living space but the master could use some deep cleaning. It has one of those terraced ceilings & you could see the dust & cobwebs up in the ledge. Plenty of games, towels, blankets, pillows etc. Stacks of books in every room--if you're a reader you'll love the eclectic selection. Excellent layout, you could have 2 families there or 2 couples with their own apartments one up one down. The view isn't what you think from the pictures. The trees surrounding the property had just been topped so you could see the rocks & ocean but if you went on the decks the dominating view was the huge metal-roof building directly below. It's pretty far from any beach so you can't just pop down for a morning walk. We were disappointed that the Jacuzzi was still not working. The heat in one of the bedrooms was also broken, which I reported & then we just didn't use that room (didn't need it). Overall a real good house that just needs a little maintenance. Good if you're looking for a place to stay with your family & don't need to be walking distance to anything.

Family together again

I was looking for an Oregon beach location to gather my family together after we were all vaccinated for Covid. Three couples had plenty of room in this two story beach home with beautiful views of the ocean. We enjoyed the tide pools, walking on the beach and flying a kite. Lunch at The Blue Agate was great! So was the ice cream at the Tillamook Creamery. The high-touch areas in the house were very clean, but the "spring-cleaning" areas like ceiling fan blades and the upper accent lighting shelves needed attention. Overall, our experience was great and I highly recommend it.

Very beautiful but...

Loved our stay here. Amazing view. Spacious upstairs and downstairs. Cool seashell collection. Well stocked kitchen. Fun story book for guests. Definitely would stay again. Only thing that kinda sucked was the jacuzzi didn't work and bedroom blinds were broken and couldn't go on the porch because of some maintenance issues and had some trouble checking in but other than that it was great.
