I was extremely disappointed regarding my stay at the DIVI Dutch. I heard so many great things about the DIVI resorts but, the Divi Dutch was NOT this at all. We were given a room extremely small, no ventilation, and we could hear the man coughing next door through the wall it was so thin. We insisted a room change and got out in the Tamjarin which was better but, still not great. Housekeeping was MIA and didn’t come for 3 days, our hotel phone didn’t work, and we had to fight to get a correct that we initially booked and paid for. You pay for all inclusive, and almost everywhere you go there is some sort of surcharge. The resort is so spread out you need a shuttle to get everywhere and they rarely ever come. Front desk staff was rude, and not helpful. If I ever go back to DIVI I’ll do the Divi Golf or Divi Aruba, but, DO NOT do the Dutch. I feel like the hotel resorts are TIERS above each-other. ALSO I was denied access to a bathroom at the Tamjarin in the LOBBY meanwhile, I was staying at their next door property the DUTCH. Overall, I was so disappointed in this hotel. I’ve been to Aruba before and love the country but, don’t stay here.
