“We loved this quiet property, right on the water. The house was clean and perfect for my mom and me. I didn’t use the kitchen but it was stocked with a lot of stuff. Towels for the beach were provided, along with chairs for sitting on the beach. There is a rinse off area in the back of the house, but to turn the water on you have to go in front of the house. I absolutely would return. ”

Swim in the river, relax on the dog or grill local fish- this place is near perfection. Very clean. Everything you need and a sweet charming cottage that’s been beautifully preserved.”

“This property is everything we hoped for. The view is stunning just down Carters Creek from the Tides Inn so the boat traffic is constant. The Crab Shack is so cute with breathtaking views out of every window. The host is great to work with and she made every bit of our stay a pleasure. We cannot wait to go back and that includes our 11 lbs dachshund who loved laying on the pier enjoying the beautiful afternoon breeze.”

“We booked this bayside property for a short family vacation and the house and amenities were exactly what we needed during our time at Hays Beach. There were ample bedrooms and spaces for all of us to relax, the kitchen was well appointed. The beach in front of the house was perfect for our grandson to play in a small pool while the others lounged in chairs or were in the water directly in front of the house. The public beach was a short walk away and we enjoyed seeing all the wildlife on the……

“First, this was a last minute booking, due to our inability to stay at our original rental. Becky was responsive to our needs so we could vacate our previous rental without delay. Next, what I loved about this property, and something you do not get very often is the amount of living, relaxing space there is in this rental. Several areas for groups of people to spread out, watch TV, look at the water, play games, often times while there are several bedrooms, there are precious few places for……

Modern furnishings, thoughtful amenities- beach towels, firewood, bikes, dog bowls, beach umbrella, kitchen supplies , hand soap, water cooler, cool refrigerator, kayaks, tv with streaming services….. literally everything you need! Relax on the balcony from master bedroom or main level. Location is quiet….. private beach is peaceful. Close to the state park as well. Highly recommend!!!!! Was a wonderful trip!”

“just as listed on VRBO sight. house had everything we needed nice and clean. contact with everyone was quick and easy the light above the stove was out and property manager was willing to come out the following day to replace if we wanted it done. short walk to the dock for fishing and crabbing crab pots supplied. we did not have any luck fishing or crabbing but probably due to the time on year. great place to get away”
