“First time visit last week. Red Lodge captures the spirit of Manitoulin and Lake Manitou while offering well furnished and appointed rooms and a top notch dining experience! I definitely plan to come next year !”

“Very lovely, quiet and relaxing property and very comfortable and clean. Rooms are spacious, equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and cups and cutlery. There is a wonderful bar onsite (no food) that has live music, and the acoustics are excellent, as well as a huge stone fireplace. The only issue we had was that there is an entrance fee to see bands ($35 per person when we were there) and as there's no TV in the rooms, you are a bit stuck in the evenings for something to do for……

“Great staff”

“It was unbearably hot in the room. Screen on sliding door was broken so we couldn't leave the door open. Only one of three windows had a screen. Thermostat was set to off but one of the electric heaters was blasting heat. It was a very uncomfortably hot night with only one window open. Air conditioner was not installed. Room and washroom were not very clean. Windows and areas around windows and sliding door were filthy. Looked like they had not been cleaned yet from the winter. The bed was……

“Love the whole cottage feel and the amenities! Staff were really nice! Could have more garbage bags and toilet paper supplied! Firewood could've been cheaper! Minor stuff! The tuck shop had some great buys like the ice cream and the sweatshirt sale! Can't wait to book here again!! 10/10!”

“We did enjoy our time here! We especially loved the campfire pit! So lovely! We appreciated all the little touches (instant coffee, paper towel, Kleenex, proper cleaning supplies, BBQ, fans, bug repellent, loads of blankets, pillows, towels). The kitchen was also well equipped for a VRBO. We appreciated the basics, oil, salt, pepper, etc. The britas were great too! Close proximity to Sauble and Owen Sound. ”

“this place was perfect for our bachelor party boys weekend! waterfront dock, great industrial kitchen amenities, yard space, bonfire pit, kayaks, pool table, a great soundsytem, separate cabin for sleeping arrangement vs the main area, even had a little boutique golf course near by. what more could you want? Mike was an exceptional host who really went the extra mile to make sure we all had a great time. We will be back!”

“Our stay at Green Nest Lodge was absolutely sensational, in fact it exceeded our expectations as it was everything the listing showed and more! The panoramic views of the forest and the lake were like none other, and everything from the management to the cleanliness to the available amenities made it a great trip with impeccable service. We spent a lot of time in the pool and on the quiet, serene lake, and we were even able to go out in the warm summer evening to gaze at the stars at night.……
