“My wife and I have just enjoyed an excellent stay at the Stone House Hotel while visiting friends and family in the area. We had a warm welcome from check-in onwards - every member of staff showed the same polite, helpful manner wherever they worked. “Stayed here as i was attending a conference at the same site, and the price was great, plus it included my evening meal and breakfast. Last year i stayed at another hotel further away, and meals had to be bought off-site, so this was a much better option for me this time. Really enjoyed my time here and will be back next year.”

“Really lovely property and great evening staff offering a really warm welcome. The morning staff didn't seem quite as enthusiastic but maybe that was just the time of day!? The facilities lose a star because the breakfast is not included and can be very expensive if you include a couple of coffees, orange juice, cereal and cooked breakfast. Great stay overall though.”

“The Stables is a wonderful place to stay, particularly for access to Alton Towers. The private Japanese hot tub is a brilliant addition to the room, which was bath temperature and ready for use on arrival. The rooms are well furnished and clean.
