“A beautiful family beach holiday crib right by the seashore. Lawns for cricket in the evenings; mud flats to explore at low tide; a wee beach or two to wander along; log fire for chilly autumn mornings and those long holiday evenings sitting round playing board games and cards together. “A little noisy during night with other people either arriving or departing on ferries but good place to stay overnight. clean and tidy, good facilities.”

“Situated overlooking Portage and 270deg views. Had a perfectly relaxing weekend with kayaking and walking and plenty of spa time. You don't have the house to yourself which we didn't realise when we booked it. However, you don't see the owners and your little self contained room is accessible without disturbing them.”

“Close to the water with amazing views, very private with plenty of activities both indoors and outdoors. Perfect weather on arrival and departure but unfortunately not good on our one full day at the bach so we didn’t get to use the dinghy or kayaks. It’s close proximity to Picton meant we could drive into town for dinner both nights.Overall we had an awesome time away and would love to return.”

“The place is remote and fabulous with a steep gravel driveway and set far above the road for noiseless nights of stargazing. It requires a little bit of off grid savvy but nothing even this 60 year old New Yorker couldn’t learn in seconds. The view is absolutely stunning, the house is quite comfortable. Very comfortable beds, spotless, shower, washing machine, beautiful, wounding, deck, Thoughtful touches as well, kitchen with small walkin pantry was clean and well-equipped. Surrounded by lush,……

“The kitchen is a great Cook's kitchen. Needs extra cutlery,(only four knives and forks), excellent stove and oven, refrigerator and freezer modern and large. Views over Picton are unbeatable! The entire apartment is modern, spacious and luxurious. I'll definitely stay again.”

“Over all good bar the sleeping arrangements and the odd bath room set up which could not be locked for privacy. Not suitable for easy access with 6 metre boat in tow very tricky driveway and would be near impossible without a 4 drive vehicle.”

“The view and location was amazing and the house was generally clean and comfortable with some dusty bits and some cobwebs. But the place is a bit tatty and run down. It definitely needs an update or a price change. The kitchen needs more equipment, wooden spoons, oven dishes and some decent knives. The upstairs bathroom door doesn't stay closed. The screen doors on the balcony are broken. There was a trampoline which my son was excited to use but the net is badly broken so not safe to……
