Welcome to our home.
Hello! My name is Felipe Crispín. We are delighted to share our accommodation in Ausangate with visitors from around the world. We live just a couple of hours from the hustle and bustle of Cusco in the peaceful and beautiful pastoral community/cultivator Pacchanta. We have been taking visitors like you for over 20 years to experience our stunning mountains and offer accommodations and hikes. We're just a two-hour walk from Ausangate's seven lagoons.
The space
Our rooms in a country community are generally simple and functional, but welcoming, designed to provide rest in a rustic setting. The space is usually fundamentally furnished, with a wooden bed, equipped with thick blankets and covers to protect yourself from the cold. The walls are made of local materials such as adobe or brick, and the windows offer views of the natural environment, such as fields or mountains.
Bedroom Description:
Bed: A single or double bed with firm mattress, wool blankets and sometimes extra duvets for cold weather and we also have heating apparatus for the cold
Furniture: Includes a simple nightstand, a chair, and for storing belongings.
Decoration: The decor is minimal, often with handcrafted details such as woven blankets or rustic handmade paintings by the community.
Lighting: We have electric power can charge cell phones, all electronic devices.
Additional Spaces:
Bathroom: Bathroom is outside the room with cold water, and on-demand hot water.
Dining: We have an area where meals are served, prepared with fresh produce from the region, in a family atmosphere and conviviality.
Common areas: We have spaces such as a communal living room or an outdoor patio with simple seating and outdoor resting areas.

3. Dining Room:
In the dining space where meals are served, usually prepared with local and fresh ingredients. In our country accommodation, it is common for traditional meals to be shared as part of the cultural experience.

Our accommodations have greenhouse gardens, patios, or green areas where guests can stroll, enjoy nature, or just relax outdoors. These areas are surrounded by natural landscapes such as mountains, countryside.
7. Recreational or activity areas:
We organize activities such as hiking, horseback riding, local craft workshops, or demonstrations of agricultural techniques. These activities are outdoors or cultural experiences.
8. Thermal waters:
Guests can use hot spring pools or relaxation areas, in Pacchanta we are a 15 minute drive (we have taxi service) from Pacchanta hot springs.

Although it can be done from Ausangate hike 3-4 days camping, it is high altitude (approximately 5,200 meters) and can be exhausting for those who are not acclimated. The trail offers panoramic views of natural colors on the mountain due to the minerals on the ground.
Sibinacocha Lagoon Trekking:
This is a more remote trekking, where you can see spectacular lagoons and high mountain landscapes. The Sibinacocha lagoon is one of the largest in Peru, and this hike allows you to discover areas less frequented by tourists, overlooking pristine landscapes. This walk is done in 6 to 8 days camping.
