“everything was ok, except for the nosy from next door rooms. walls too thin could hear next door guest talking, not much privacy when noise from room, also no chair in room except a desk chair very poor quality . ”

“For my purpose of a writing retreat the location was perfect. Short walk to the beach and to Sheffield’s for supplies. Space was good for one person. Bed was comfortable. Only suggestion is that table lamps by bed and or floor lamp would improve lighting. And since there is only a microwave, microwave safe dishware would be a nice addition. Overall a nice little place! ”

“I vacationed here with just my dog. The camper itself was super cleaned and was stocked with amenities. It is well maintained. The owners are very nice and easy to reach. The area around the home is not the nicest (some of the neighbors have old cars and junk in the yards), but I felt safe there. The location is kind of in the middle of nowhere which I actually enjoyed, but note that if you stay here be prepared to drive. This is not the place to stay if you want to be able to walk to the……

“The Sunset Inn was a very comfortable and relaxing stay. From the screened in porch overlooking the marsh, we watched the sun rise and sunset. Very good coffee available in the morning as well as coffee maker in the room. Tasty breakfasts. Temperature control was easy, heating and cooling. Nice walk to beach. On the first level, the Inn has 2 full showers with soap and shampoo, and each room has a storage room for beach equipment so no sand is tracked to around. We loved Sunset Beach. There is……

“The property was terrific, Lucie was enormously pleasant and helpful - but nothing could overcome the weather. Rain from the tropical storm kept us indoors and threatened to make travel hazardous on the single road on and off the island assuming the road remained open. As a result we chose to cut our stay short and left before conditions deteriorated further.”
