Shepherds Rest is one of just three, stylishly furnished, en-suite, heated glamping units, 2 pods and 1 Shepherds Hut, set off the beaten track in a secluded 4 acre meadow in the beautiful Rutland countryside.
On site there is a variety of local wildlife as well as horses and sheep in nearby fields. Each accommodation has its own individual fenced off garden area for piece of mind when bringing four legged loved ones complete with sun loungers, fire pit, picnic table and coffee chairs/table.
Shepherds Rest, new 2024 is our sole Shepherds Hut. Designed with no expense spared to ensure that extra touch of luxury. Complete with Kingsize bed, luxury leather sofa, stunning kitchenette with Belfast sink and oak worktops; two ring hob, cooker and fridge with freezer compartment, what more could you want? Perhaps a flushing toilet, feature piece bathroom sink and spacious shower answers that together with heated flooring of course! Shepherds Rest really has it all including its own wood fired hot tub to make those romantic stays even more luxurious!
Canine companions are still warmly welcomed and encouraged but we know people, like ourselves, often like to use their own bedding when staying away with furry companions so that the worry of soiling is taken away. To this end, bedding is not included in the nightly rate but can be purchased separately if required as an extra.
Two 10kgs of kiln dried fire wood, a bag of kiln dried kindling and some fire candles are included in this package for use with the hot tub and/or fire pit as desired. Extra wood can be purchased on site.
Essentials such as tea, coffee, toilet rolls, shower gel, hand wash, olive oil and a welcome pack with semi skinned milk, butter and Jam packs and some sumptuous locally baked bread will be waiting for your arrival.

We are a small and secluded site so if you're looking for something a little different, away from the crowds but in beautiful, natural surroundings - RRR is the place for you.
