“Third year staying here. It’s reliable and close to where I need to be. It could use improvement in cleaning and general care. there was an old used bar of soap in our shower and the bathroom ceiling tiles were severely damaged, the towel bar had been ripped off the wall. “Gallapolis by the River was a treat. Classic older home right on the river that’s been well maintained and has comfortable furnishings and beds. Very short walk to City Park and with convenient parking right in front. View of the River from the back deck couldn’t be any better. Downstairs bathroom is a little snug for tall guys but is very much in keeping with the charm of the home. My family enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again.”

“The cabin was comfortable and very cute. The only thing that upset me was that the water was unsafe- even when put in the Brita Filter. It smelled strongly of metal and when I rinsed out a cup that had had it in it, it had a red/brown residue. So we had to buy water to wash hands and drink etc. But the area is really beautiful and I understand we're in the woods. It's a very comfy spot.”
