“I liked the historic interest in the property it would a good idea to offer a printed brochure showing some of the history of the structure. We did not like the shower set up the nozzle kept drooping down so it was a real Nuisance trying to shower”

“The property was spotlessly clean and in great condition. Beds were very comfortable and overall it was very cosy with easy access to the beach. The indoor swimming pool was a great hit with our kid and there was lots to do nearby. The kitchen was fitted with all necessary appliances and utensils, but there was no chopping board which was a bit of a challenge while cooking. Also no bath towels are provided, those would be a nice addition. The TV was in good working condition too. Lack of free……

“The grounds and property were impressive and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful and offered a wide range of food and drink. The King-size bedroom as well presented and comfortable. located on the ground floor there are some outside sounds eg in corridors . however most of the time it is quiet and serene. ”

“We were pleasantly surprised by the location, next to a river and bridge. The hotel is well appointed with a welcoming staff. We had a front facing twin room which was spotlessly clean with a good selection of drinks and toiletries and comfortable. What really impressed us both was the staff member making sure to let them know if there was anything else we needed and specially John, the owner, coming over during our dinner, introducing himself and again making sure we were happy with……

“the rooms were very nice and clean, the downside was on the days that the weather was bad, we were cold, the little heater in the sitting room did not warm up the room. The window in the kitchen was open and was too high to reach and close. The shower stall could do with some sort of mat to prevent anyone slipping and hurting themselves. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The hallway and stairs to our room was always clean.”
