“Lots of room for family to stay and plenty to do both in the home and out. A beautiful little beach and fire put area, right on the water! Fishing guides can pick you up right on your dock!”

“The Crooked Cottage was perfect for what we were looking for - a cozy, remote place for a relaxing long weekend. It was stocked with everything we needed, and the host was very responsive for any questions. The cabin was very unique, with vintage decor and the perfect “home away from home vibe”. The fireplace was perfect for the cold, and there was hot chocolate, coffee, and tea if we wanted a hot drink. Definitely a hidden gem! ”

“Quiet little cabin close to the water. Bit of a hike up the hill to get to the car, but great cardio! Owner Denise drove our bags down in the side by side, even offered to take back up when we were done! She was quick to respond to the few problems we had that were eas to resolve. 20 inute drive to Fort Francis if you need to pick anything up. For sure want to come back!”

“The new deck overlooking the lake is definitely the highlight of this property. We had a great time relaxing and visiting with friends.”

“My friend and I stayed in one of the tiny cabins this past summer and it was such a cozy stay! They have a little farm on site, which was fun to go look at. It’s a 3-5 minute walk down a trail to the lake, where you can go for a swim, a kayak ride (they had some to use), or float around on floaties for the afternoon. The bathroom house was really clean and lovely to use. The communal fire pit area is beautiful as well. 10/10 stay and will be booking for next summer as well! ”

"As the price value was pretty okay for what they provided, a clean room with a reasonable breakfast. Located next to the highway to the West as I remember. Except the 2 reception staffs morning and late afternoon were a bit impolite and impatient. I complained that they offered me a very inconvenient room that hard to carry my big luggage through a very hallway. The reception female staff for check in answered me kind of stupid reply. Another lady in the morning, that I asked when returned back the deposit to my account, she was told it would back to my credit card. I have never used my credit card there? She continued to say my debit card was a credit card in same. I have no time to continue this silly conversation. Please offer the reception staffs more training about how to communicate with the customers and their knowledge too. Thanks."
