“A perfect location for an overnight stay. We met up with our oldest grandson who lives two hours to the south of Merriville. Disappointed that there was no pool, not the grandchildren didn’t seem to mind. The complimentary “Happy Hour” was cancelled due to the holiday so that was a bit disappointing as well. The staff was exceptional and very welcoming to all of us. Overall the 7 of us had a comfortable stay at the hotel.”

“Comfortable room and decent bed, but I was disappointed the prominent fireplace wasn't in working order. The room was also missing a coffee table by the couch. The walking trail outside was a nice touch, but the roar of the highway was a bit much. However, loved the restaurant -- both the ambience and the food!”

“Really enjoyed my stay! The staff was super accommodating. I needed to check in a couple of hours early for an online business meeting and the desk staff immediately found me a room that fit my reservation that had already been cleaned. Plenty of desk space, comfortable chair, and I appreciated that it was right next to the fridge during breaks. Even when I checked out very early in the morning at the end of my stay, the night staff was also to very friendly and professional. Will definitely……

“Property was generally fine. Breakfast was very limited, but worked for a single morning. Access to the site was problematic with road construction around the property and some challenges finding how to access the property late at night. Check in was late at night, and we did not have problems getting into the building, but it took 20 minutes for the host to come back.”
