“This hotel is situated in a very nice location facing the lava pools.The beds were comfortable, the balcony was spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean and the buffet breakfast was good. It is within walking distance to all sights in Porto Moniz . There is lots of parking available. Staff were friendly and efficient. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome and departure gifts.”

“Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück bot eine sehr grosse Auswahl. Zimmer waren groß mit Balkon. Ruhige Lage Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder. ”

“This hotel was our ‘splash’ for the trip and it absolutely delivered. Very friendly and professional welcome at the Reception desk, checked in early with no qualms at all, beautifully clean rooms with good amenities and amazing views. We loved the cliff side location with views over the dramatic Madeira’s coast. Impressive breakfast spread tended by staff who were very well trained. We enjoyed the pool/ hot tub though felt a little rushed after the day as it closed at 8pm… perhaps 9pm would give……

“We travelled in the off season (early March) and really enjoyed our stay. Our room had a garden view and it was perfect. We strolled through every pathway in the property and for a flower/garden/rose lover it would be absolutely amazing in the summer when everything is in bloom. Our check-in greeting and encounters with staff were always polite and cheerful and breakfast was perfect every morning. We would happily stay here again.”
