“Beautiful, peaceful property on pond, quiet and clean! Art in the home is fun and eclectic. We are so Thankful this property allows dogs without a weight restriction. This helped us include our dogs without the worry of leaving the dogs at an expensive dog boarding place. We had so much fun hiking, running and walks, with strolls around local attractions and leaf peeping; all with the dogs ! Cabot is a nice town and the property is located within 1-2 hours of major attractions such as Montpelier……

“We loved everything about this place! The view was amazing! The host was very nice and communicated with us about things to see during our trip, including the northern lights! It was a relaxing, beautiful visit with hopefully many more to come!”

“My husband and I were looking for a vacation away from everything and when we saw this property, we thought it fit the bill. It was a very scenic ride on the way there and once we reached Vermont we just took it all in, all the beautiful sights of nature at its best. Once we arrived at the house, it was just as described. We enjoyed the tranquility and the beauty of the location.”

“There are a lot of good things about our stay. We loved being able to walk through Stowe at all hours. We loved the convenience of having a market right next door. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown……

“Loved our stay at the well-decorated Goldilocks cabin! A mile or 2 outside Stowe, a good location for taking in the scenery and town. Had everything we needed at the cabin; loved the attention to detail. ”

“We were there for just one night. It was such a quiet, relaxing afternoon and evening. We had driven most of the morning and it was a nice de-stressed! The river was beautiful. The yard was mowed and we sat in the chairs that were provided and watched the sun set behind the trees. ”

“This cabin is absolutely perfect. This was exactly what we needed as a little weekend getaway. Perfect for 2 people. Perfect location, quiet and peaceful loved the rustic look. Hot tub and fire pit were a perfect spot for relaxing on the cooler nights. Iron Rail Pub was great for food and the locals were super nice. The hose was very pleasant to deal with answered questions very quickly. Will definitely be booking again here.”

“Beautiful property, everything was there that you could possibly need. Very comfortable beds , everyone slept very well . The house was beautifully decorated , loved all the attention to detail. Always love visiting Stowe, house is very close to everything and we would definitely come back! visitors ”

“It was a great home, private location, fire pit, grill, everything that was to be expected. Nice little trail walk to the creek. I would come back. The management company needs to clean a bit better in general; e.g., on under furniture, dust, upkeep porch, and some manicuring of the landscape is needed. The bottom of the fire pit is rotted out and owner should get a new one. ”

“This vacation rental was an excellent location to have a team retreat with friends that have an excellent bonding experience. It's great to have privacy for everyone and big public spaces. The owner was so helpful and having the groundskeeper on site was definitely handy when anything came up. Thank you for the space to create such great memories. ”
