“This property/cabin was perfect for our short visit.1 block off old town, easy walking distance. Visited Washington(town) off 49 to the north and back down to Grass Valley. Nevada City still has an old town feel to the old town area. A little disappointed in Grass valley, it's lost that. Sure the buildings are old but the closure and modernization of old town just lost a lot of appeal for me.”

“Super cozy cabin and lovely location. I had a great time and wish I could have spent more time there. The wifi worked fine, and it was not a serious issue for me but it’s important to know that AT&T (at least for me) does not have cell reception there.”

“The house and property are beautiful and perfectly located. Deer and wild turkeys came right to the house. The Yuba river is at the end of the road you drive up on, you just gotta keep driving even when you hit the narrow dirt road. We went for Grass Valley but fell in love with Nevada City. Papa Bear was much bigger than we needed but we love space, and it had plenty of it. We got to sit on the backyard porch and watch the deer. You are in the deep woods, yet only about 3 miles away or so from……

“This A-frame was spacious and welcoming for my weekend away with my friends. We had the space to play board games, make food, and cozy up for multiple conversations. I loved strolling around the lush grounds in the evening. We would love to stay here again for our next Yuba river adventure. ”

“We had a pleasant stay at this property. The property manager was very responsive, which was great since we lost power after dark and thankfully were able to find a couple battery lights to help. I would definitely stay again.”

“Comfy beds, all the amenities you needed and a few minutes to bars, restaurants and shops. The town is super cute and close to a ton of dog friendly hiking trails. ”
