The space:
The apartment features beautiful tall vaulted wooden ceilings throughout, and a full-width double walkout to a private balcony where you can relax day or night, enjoy the peace and tranquility it offers, and gaze at magnificent sea views.
The open-plan “great room” features a large wall with built-in TV, free WIFI, plus a comfortable sitting area and separate dining space. The kitchen is modern and fully-equipped allowing you the option to prepare meals at home should you choose. Whether you're cooking, eating your meals, or simply relaxing, you will enjoy the stunning views from every vantage point of this lovely space.
The bathroom is also fully-equipped with modern amenities, including rainfall shower and body jets, plus a washing machine for your convenience.
The larger bedroom features a queen-size bed, built-in wardrobe and a walk-out to a private balcony with sea views. The second bedroom also features a built-in wardrobe, plus a sofa which converts into a smaller double bed. This room can be used as a bedroom, or as a private office or lounge space. If required, there is also a comfortable portable cot available which can easily be set up in the larger living space.
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning / heating for your comfort any time of the year.
Guest access:
The apartment is on the top level of a 2-storey building and it occupies the entire floor (there are only 2 units in the building). It is accessible from a private exterior staircase, no elevator.
It is one of only a few new apartments and homes in a small gated community, and is situated in a very convenient location with direct access from the main road.
One private parking space is included, as well as additional open parking across the street.
It's a short downhill walk to the beach and surrounding tavernas and cafes (and the uphill climb back is a great way to get your daily exercise!)
Nearby shops and amenities (grocery, pharmacy, bakery, etc.) are best accessed by car or bike unless you don't mind the longer walk.
The village:
Xiropigado is a small seaside village in the municipality of North Kynouria, in Eastern Arcadia, Greece. It is located 150 km from Athens (approx 2 hours) in the Peloponnese region. It is situated on the west coast of the Argolic Gulf, and due to its advantageous position between mountain and sea, it has an exceptional climate all year round with minimal humidity. It is an ideal location for anyone seeking a relaxing beach vacation but also a close distance to the historic city of Nafplio. We hope you will have fun exploring its beaches and coves (some only accessible by water), its delicious tavernas and cafes, churches, local shops, and of course, its people. The closest towns are Kiveri to the north (7 km) and Astros to the south (10 km).

Argos (20 km) is considered the oldest continuously inhabited city in Europe, and today is one of the major centres for the area. You can visit to shop, dine or explore its numerous ancient monuments.
Mycenae (30 km) is one of the most important archaeological sites of Greece famous for its Cyclopean Walls, the Lion Gate (Bronze Age citadel) and the Treasury of Atreus (Tomb of Agamemnon).
Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus (48 km) is the finest, best preserved ancient theatre of its kind. Known for its astounding acoustics, it is still being used today to host unique performances primarily during the annual summer Festival of Epidaurus.
