Our hosts were brilliant and when there was a brief region wide power cut they were straight to us to ensure we had everything we needed. “We had a fabulous 4 night stay in this lovely lodge. So impressed with the standard of accommodation. Everything was finished to a very high standard. Plenty of room for lounging together, also having a TV in each room meant you could chill away from the group as well. The wood burner was lovely and we did light it although the lodge was really warm & cosy without it. The outdoor space was perfect especially the hot tub & sun beds. The location was peaceful and so pretty. We visited the shared……

“Amazingly spotless, lots of room. Every room had a wow factor. Our first stay in a luxe Lodge and it didn't dissapoint. Slight issue with ants on the last day after the grounds maintenance but it's expected and spray was provided. Hot tub clean and ph checked every day. Reception were happy to help when we realised the first aid kit was missing and there was a cut finger. Brought it round straight away (in their defence we did decline the final check of the housekeeping team as we arrived……

“The Shepherds Nest is the best Shepherds Hut we’ve stayed in, for space, amenities and for hospitality. It’s well built, furnished to a high standard and there’s a lot of thought gone into everything. Charlie and Carol were really welcoming and there were lots of little touches, and nice surprises on our arrival. The outside bath is great, in all weathers! We’d highly recommend.”

“The hut is in an off grid location. Perfect for a weekend away. Mandy had thought of everything for a comfortable stay. The hot tub is a great addition with amazing views. We had a slight issue on our last day where the hut ran out of gas but Mandy was kind to sort this. We would definitely recommend. ”
