“It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. ”

“We came to Newport for the bowens warf seafood fest and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The location of the rental was perfectly set in town. Walkable to just about anywhere. Tons of food choices, overwhelming amount of retail shops. Minutes to walk to the ward. Only downside was parking. Highly recommend This rental. ”

“Great location! Very clean and well stocked bathrooms. Spent a lot of time on the rooftop deck. Only complaint, and it was probably user error that we couldn’t figure out how to shut them off, are the deck lights shining into the upstairs bedroom at night. ”

“Just stayed 2 nights for a friends wedding weekend and our experience was amazing! Seamless check in! The property owner even called us earlier in the day to let us know we could check in early and call if we need anything. The place was spotless, adorable and perfectly fit the 4 of us. Located central to everything we were able to walk everywhere and avoid Ubers. It was an a great weekend and we would definitely stay here again!”

“everything you need for 3 work colleagues who need a fully equipped comfortable space a short walk from downtown. ”

“This clean and well-decorated apartment is accurately portrayed. We had a relaxing stay. The apartment is perfectly located in the center of Bristol, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The hosts can provide you with a parking permit for your vehicle and it was easy to find street parking. Just a block from the waterfront. The hosts were friendly and communicative. The kitchenette is well equipped for making simple meals and snacks. We enjoyed our stay!”

“Nice property for 4 adults in a very convenient location. The downtown area and RISD campus are within walking distance, along with restaurants and shops. Be aware (for those with mobility issues) that there are stairs into and within the apartment. The two bathrooms are accommodating and the kitchen has basic necessities. Street parking is allowed, but only during certain hours - we had to move our vehicle at 8:00 am to a spot a few blocks away. A few minor complains....no lights on the……

“This was newer remodeled in an older neighborhood. This is a very basic VBRO, not a luxury for the amenities provided. I am not familiar with the area but it was convenient with some nice restaurants in the vicinity. They did a good job, its nice, but not complete when we stayed. Property manager was prompt in assisting.”

“The unit was nice, but I wish I had known about the spiral staircase and made it difficult for me to get up and down. My cousins rooms have a regular staircase up to the third floor. Outside of the room, the hallways had a multi smell to it. Inside the room was OK. I was disappointed I had to give up my room to sleep on the couch downstairs. The unit could use some updating. The ice machine did not work at all the entire time we were there. It would’ve been nice to see which side of the complex……

“The bed is SO comfy. The view from the deck, and even inside the room, is beautiful. Chocolate chip cookies and fresh cut cantaloupe (along with other fruits)were waiting for me when I arrived and I’m not ashamed to say the cookies were gone in literally 10 minutes of my arrival 😳. Loved her homemade soap/lotion/oils as well and will be purchasing for gifts (and myself 🙂). ”

Disappointing. Broken Air Conditioning.

"The room has a smell of cigarette smoking and the air conditioning was broken in our room. We managed to move into another room with a floor cooler. When we were packing to move, a person who claimed to be the manager of the hotel called our room and told us to vacate the room right that moment. He was very impolite. In the room which we switched to, it still felt hot like outside at 33 degrees as the window was not securely taped, therefore there was a leak in the window caused by the air duct of the floor cooler."
