“It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. ”

“Troy’s place is nicely decorated and very clean ! You can walk to everything . It is such a great location ! It was nice to have the public parking across the street and that it is free October 31 to April 30. My only suggestion would be to have kitchen knives and a toaster . We like to cook breakfast. I would definitely recommend Troy’s place. ”

“Just stayed 2 nights for a friends wedding weekend and our experience was amazing! Seamless check in! The property owner even called us earlier in the day to let us know we could check in early and call if we need anything. The place was spotless, adorable and perfectly fit the 4 of us. Located central to everything we were able to walk everywhere and avoid Ubers. It was an a great weekend and we would definitely stay here again!”

“This clean and well-decorated apartment is accurately portrayed. We had a relaxing stay. The apartment is perfectly located in the center of Bristol, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The hosts can provide you with a parking permit for your vehicle and it was easy to find street parking. Just a block from the waterfront. The hosts were friendly and communicative. The kitchenette is well equipped for making simple meals and snacks. We enjoyed our stay!”

I am not familiar with the area but it was convenient with some nice restaurants in the vicinity. They did a good job, its nice, but not complete when we stayed. “The unit was nice, but I wish I had known about the spiral staircase and made it difficult for me to get up and down. My cousins rooms have a regular staircase up to the third floor. Outside of the room, the hallways had a multi smell to it. Inside the room was OK. I was disappointed I had to give up my room to sleep on the couch downstairs. The unit could use some updating. The ice machine did not work at all the entire time we were there. It would’ve been nice to see which side of the complex……
