Great location and great camp!
We had a great stay at Depatsy’s camp with our 10mo old son and pup. The house was cozy, spacious and had everything we needed. The house was in a perfect location with access to the water and kayaks/paddle boards. We spent a lot of time on the patio enjoying the view and using the fire pit. Would definitely return for another trip!

Perfect Getaway!
The listing and house was exactly as expected and even more! Great location off of route one in the adorable town of Damariscotta. Fairly quiet road, and when we did see neighbors passing by everyone was super friendly, offering access to their docks as well. There's a public boat launch a couple hundred feet from the house, so if you have a motor boat or jet skis, that is perfect. Access to the lake was easy and great, and the kayaks provided were so much fun (there are two full size kayaks, one person each; then two kayaks that are narrower with smaller openings). House itself was clean and so comfortable. Note that to access the bathroom you need to go through the second bedroom (the one with the bunks). Shower was great, although on the smaller side, so if you are a larger individual it may be uncomfortable. The patio is gorgeous!
Good: The front view is beautiful. It’s a quiet area and you can hear frogs outside. The local memorabilia decorations are fun.
Not So Great: There was hair ALL over our bedding, tables, shower etc when we arrived (owner seemed aware). Extra attention to the cleanliness is needed, especially considering the cleaning fees.
There is hardly any privacy from the road (people fishing or driving by) with the lack of curtains. The bathroom needs to have some covering.
There was no hand soap or garbage bag prepped in the bathroom. We were able to retrieve the WiFi info after a text, but a cheat sheet would be helpful for guests.
Really Bad: We booked our stay to enjoy the beauty & be stress-free, but it was only stress and unease, due to the rodent infestation at this property. The day we arrived, it was raining — and we thought what we heard was just the rain fall. We saw a mouse in the house (owner seemed aware), and droppings on the floor on our stuff. The mouse ran into the hole in the wall behind the chair. We weren’t able to get comfortable & had to keep all of our belongings zipped up or in the car. No air conditioning in the bedroom, & we didn’t get any sleep. We learned the loud noises in the walls & in between the beams in the house was loud non-stop animal activity. Multiple animals running back and forth. We did not feel comfortable & messaged in the app that we had left that next morning (without response) & we had to book another place for the remaining 2 nights.
