“The boardwalk on North Long Lake ticked all the boxes to host family from out of state over the long MEA weekend. “The home was lovely. A little disconcerting to have any traps on the kitchen counter though. Tried to contact owner for departure instructions and they never answered so we just did what most vrbo renters have asked. Also, instructions regarding entry need updating. Talks about turning something but it is digital and you need to hit the lock symbol. Also, we brought steaks for the bbq seen in photo. It is a pellet stove. “Booked this hideaway for a few days for a kayak tournament on the Whitefish Chain of lakes. Great secluded area with amazing amenities. “Great location for super easy (1 block away) access to the atv trails. Cabin is in a quiet neighborhood, close to the lake. Convenience store and restaurants/bars within easy walking distance. “We three sisters spent three nights at this property. One thing was mentioned in another review: keep right at the fork with the sign for the Paul Bunyan Trail! The road was difficult to follow when covered with the abundance of colorful leaves! Great place for walks, bonfires and feeling the peace. The home was beautiful. We had several visits from a friendly cat. The table was big enough to both eat AND do a jigsaw puzzle! Lots of fun places to shop. We even got to play mini golf in Pequot……

“While we did not have children with us, it’s the perfect location to stay for a long weekend getaway. The large RV literally feels like a cabin. Onsite water activities for kids and adults on hand.
