“We had a pleasant stay in this home. It was well stocked and clean. The cabin is old and comes with all the quirks that an old home brings. The beds were comfortable. The loft was a little difficult for a tall adult to get up and down from. The heating is uneven, so it stays much colder in the downstairs and bathroom. As noted the stairs leading to the house are very rough and make for a challenge carrying suitcases. All of this is noted for knowledge, not a complaint. We are very happy we chose……

“This cabin was a great place to stay! It is centrally located so we were able to enjoy Keeneland, the Bourbon Trail, Horse Farms plus trips to Danville, Shaker Village and downtown Harrodsburg. “We really enjoyed our stay here. We were allowed our 2 family dogs and the quietness was wonderful. The hosts were very accommodating and were very considerate. It snowed our last night there and they contacted us to let us know there was no hurry to check out if we were concerned about the roads. The cabin is so historic, which I truly enjoy. “We rented Stone and Cedar Lodge from Sam, who was an excellent host! Our kids and teens really enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, trampoline, and game room with pool table, hockey and foosball. And the little touches really made it special - the rooms had ample closet space, towels were luxuriously thick, there were plenty of extra blankets and quilts. And our host was very accessible, checked on the hot tub, made sure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful time - highly recommend renting……

“This house set up was perfect for four good friends from out of town going to see a performance at the Lexington Opera House.
