The perfect getaway!
This was the absolute perfect stay from the easy check in, coziest cabin, fun with farm animals, and incredible communication from hosts! We felt out in the country while also having access to everything within 15 minutes! It was perfect, we would 10/10 recommend and come again! Thank you!

Fun/unique little getaway 😊

Lovely little cottage in the country
The Twiglet was a great spot for a long weekend getaway. Only 15 minute drive to Niagara Falls. Located on an animal sanctuary- we could feed and pet the animals (goats, alpacas, horses, donkey, turkeys, and ducks). This “tiny home” was a perfect couples retreat!

Petra is a fantastic host!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at "The Hoblet" my wife describes it as a magical place! Petra was like having our travel agent next door, she gave great advice and made our trip to the falls fantastic.

This was a wonderful, unique accommodation. A completely different experience from my usual business travel. Unplugged evenings, animals yo say hello to, trickling water features. Tiny house relaxation.

Very Cool Spot!
If you love animals then come here. I've never stared so deep into an alpacas eyes with it, at least what seemed, like it was smiling back at me lol. The cabin was cosy and suited all needs. We would definitely recommend.

Wonderful place to relax with my family
Thank you for the warm welcome and the opportunity for my children to enjoy being outside - the goats and donkeys are magic. They make cold weather disappear and being outside a treat. .

Best place I have ever stayed
Every inch of the property is absolutely beautiful and staying so close to all of the animals was magical. Dawn is the kindest BNB host I’ve ever met as well and makes you feel at home here. You can walk around the conservatory freely and visit and/or feed the animals whenever you want. My girlfriend and I ended up booking an extra day here because we loved it so much. Can’t recommend it enough

Beautiful oasis with goat and alpaca friends!
We had a great time staying in the Twiglet! What a cute and cozy cabin! And staying around the animals was an extra treat… we loved saying hello to all the goats, alpaca, and ducks with special appearances by the farm dogs and cat. Dawn was great too! Easy to communicate with and clear easy instructions for checking in. The Twiglet was the perfect peaceful oasis after a busy day exploring to Niagara Falls area. Would love to come back again!

Cute, cozy, quiet and so worth it!!
Enjoyed it all. Host was friendly and very helpful. Didn’t realize how much wine was in the area. Easy drive to Niagara. The worst thing was the alpaca that sneezed on me lol. I would recommend to anyone looking for a romantic and comfy get away!!! If there weren’t so many other places I want to go we would go back next year.

Relax in solitude a short drive from Niagara!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hoblet. This was a great, very quiet place to stay but still only a 15 minute drive from Niagara Falls. Petra and Mush were excellent hosts, attending to our needs while granting us our privacy. If you're looking for relaxing solitude, this is a great option. We even got to enjoy several fresh apples picked direct from her tree. Just wish we hadn't missed the nectarines! Maybe next stay.

Peaceful and relaxing
We booked this property based on reviews by previous guests. We were not disappointed. The owners were gracious and a great source of information for things to do in the area that were not so touristy. From enjoying our morning coffee on the covered porch to feeding the rescue animals on the property... It was a very relaxing vacation. If we make it to that area again, we would definitely stay here.

Unique spot with great neighbours!
We had a great 2 night stay at this property. The tiny house is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. And those surroundings include many goats, alpacas, ducks and cute dogs. The house has everything you need and is clean and comfortable. Dawn was friendly and quick to answer any questions we had. She introduced us to the animals on the property and we had fun feeding them during our time there. Coming back after our daily travels we were always greeted by many bleats and baas :) We highly recommend staying here for a change of pace from your usual accommodations.

Home away from home:)
My husband and I recently spent 2 nights at the Hoblet house celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary! Petra was so sweet with flowers and a card to welcome us for our visit. The house is set in a very peaceful place surrounded by nature and the animals:) We loved it. Petra gave us many great suggestions of places to eat and sites to see. We loved the sauna/movies and even played some cribbage...it was nice to not be connected to the outside world while we were there..but if you need internet Petra is glad to provide the service. We were not disappointed in our stay at all...the Hoblet house made our stay special!

Best anniversary trip!
Typically during our anniversary we are already on a family vacation. This year we decided to do a stay just the two of us. My husband and I had the best time this trip!! We didn’t have a ton of time to spend on the sanctuary due to things my husband had planned out for us. But, the time we did get to spend there was wonderful. It’s peaceful at night. Miss Wanda will visit you. I got to meet so many goats, even had to put some escapees back in their pin Lolol!! They were the sweetest! I definitely recommend staying here with your spouse/significant other! It’s romantic in so many ways! I wanna go back for sure!!

Animals great,didn’t get a tour of the place. Could not sit on deck area dirty, musty and lots of mould. My clothes,suitcase and car smells of mould. The animals look healthy,god bless, but would not go back. Best of luck Dawn, I know rain does not help,which we had a lot of rain. 🙁😊

Amazing place to stay!
The Hoblet was the perfect place to return to after the heat and crowds at Niagara Falls. My children, ages 7 and 9, loved the animals; we referred to Cuddles as our alarm clock. As a mom and dad on a budget, my husband and I appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and grill. In fact, we only ate at a restaurant once during our four day/three night stay! Petra and Mush are such amazing hosts- I truly felt like we were neighbors, not guests. One evening after a long day seeing the sights, I asked my family if they were ready to "go home"- they knew I was referring to the Hoblet! Petra is a wealth of information regarding things to see and do around Niagara Falls. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. The Hoblet will always have a special place in the hearts of my family.

What a gem! A little getaway hidden in wine country surrounded by sanctuary animals (mostly in their own penned areas). Offering easy access to the region’s amenities with a car, this little (and they mean little) home has what one needs to take care of themselves. Heat, electricity, water, own mini kitchen w mini appliances and a mini bathroom and a mini bedroom with a queen-sized bed. (It might be a touch tricky for anyone with mobility issues to navigate, but it isn’t a challenging landscape to traverse.) The hosts are friendly and helpful and are doing great work with the animals (the animals you can meet and pet!). A great and eccentric accommodation for great, eccentric people like me. ;)

Lovely place to stay
We came from the UK to this lovely well kept accommodation with the nicest people running it and animals that are exceptionally loved and cared for. The Hoblet is a once in a lifetime find which is close to everything including the falls and Niagara on the lake. Petra is a mind of information on the local area and is very welcoming. We all loved the animals and being able to spend time with them feeding and grooming. I even saw three deer just walking around the back of the Hoblet early one morning. A real nice place to stay which was home from home and nice to come back to every evening. I would recommend the hoblet to all and I felt extremely sad leaving there. Would love to come back again! Relaxing and comfortable and so unique!
Us three West Virginia girls had such an amazing time!!! We were greeted with smiles and hugs by Petra ,Mush and a few dogs! Well Mush got hugs lol. Such a joy and a pleasure to meet these two great caretakers of such sweet animals . The animals were an added joy!! We had a great fire and hot dogs on the fire and a evening of quiet and a memorable evening with just us three girls!! Out and away from all the noise and traffic!! Was a true redo again and again. We will deffently return for a update on this gem of a place and the animals. Thanks guys for making our stay one of the best we have had EVER!!! We will recommend your lovey Hoblet to everyone!!
