“The room was absolutely fine for one night's solo travel as I went to a friend's party. I didn't want to spend a fortune and the room was a good price in the right location. I hadn't expected tea and coffee making facilities, nor a hairdryer but was pleasantly surprised with both. The bed was comfy and clean. It's over a pub with a late license so there was a bit of noise but not enough to cause an issue. The bathroom was compact and apart from the mouldy seals in the shower it was clean. It did……

“The overall impression is really good, the room is very big and there are kettle for boiling water and the shower is really good too. But the early morning when we tried to check out, there was not a single person on the reception and no one answer phone call on the emergency tel no., at last we just leave our room key on the table.”

“A nice stay when in the area. The food is good, as are the team. I did hear some locals moaning about both, however that isn't my experience at all. The rooms are good, I had a different room this time and it's probably due for some tlc, however it was serviceable and the bed was comfy etc. The Bowl has a nice feel in a lovely location - it was a stunning evening to sit outside and dine whilst reading a book - with the bell ringing practise starting in the evening. ”
