“Everything was good. Just a few things to know…walls are very thin could hear our neighbors talking at 5:30am that woke us up. Also could hear loud noises from upstairs tenants like foot stomping. If you plan on cooking, bring your own pans as the ones in cabin 2 were uncleanable. We had to go buy our own while we were there. In winter the drive is steep into the cabin parking lot and luckily we had all-wheel drive. Other patrons had to park elsewhere as to not get stuck. Overall beds were……

“As advertised. Very spacious and comfortable sleeping for our 10 adults. Winter storm and probably 10 inches of snow that week and though a four-wheel-drive was needed it was easily accessible and ample parking for fairly large vehicles. Hope to return.”

“What a beautiful property in the perfect setting. Very clean and well appointed throughout. Everything you could need is provided to include a very nice hot-tub, satellite internet, fireplace, and a grill. There are a few neighbors in the area that are not too close to be an issue. Keep in mind that the property is pretty remote so make sure you bring everything you need for the stay or be prepared to drive 30 minutes to the nearest grocery. “We visited this cabin for our youngest’s 2nd birthday, and our first overnight trip as a family of four. It couldn’t have been more perfect for us. Our toddlers love watching Little House on the Prairie, and they really thought we were staying at “Laura and Mary’s” cabin. We were only about a 20 minute drive to the sledding hill at Beech mountain, and close to lots of dining options. We lived in a historic home, so the “character” in this cabin didn’t bother us at all. If you’re averse to uneven……

“Home was perfect and just as listed, host decorated for Christmas which was such a lovely surprise. I had a couple of questions which were answered promptly. Already booked again for next year!”

“The cabin was comfortable and cozy on our cold snowy stay. It had everything we needed. Great location that felt secluded, but close to town. We all enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub. We got a few inches of snow. It was a great winter getaway! The host, Michael was wonderful and very accommodating. P.S. Suggest use of the second entrance. 4x4 was needed in the snow”

“What a neat little find! My son and I wanted to see snow and go tubing near the mountains. They have two really cool cabins so there’s a lot of privacy and a beautiful location in the forest. Highly recommend.”
