“This was just as described! The location was perfect for Gettysburg and Maryland. We were able to go exploring and make a short trip back to relax.”

It was immaculately clean, very comfortable, and had everything we needed to prepare dishes for our Christmas celebration. It was a special surprise to walk in and have the house already decorated for Christmas, including a Christmas tree. The location is a little remote but beautiful and was perfect for us.”

“This home was great for our extended family of 26! The kitchen was well-stocked. The huge dining room table could seat us all. The 3 refrigerators and 2 ovens/stoves were great. We missed having a dishwasher, but we just used more disposable paperware so we weren't doing dishes all week! The living room was great with lots of nice couches. The smart TV worked well. It was nice having the option of using the towels and sheets there, even though we had to wash them before we left. There are 2……

“We stayed here while in town for a wedding. We had 13 adults and one child. This is such a neat old house with so many cool features. We had a fun time exploring the house and admiring the unique features like the Jefferson doors to the porches, the old coal dump, and all the super cool antiques in the home. All of the bedrooms have a sink in them which was really awesome and helpful for when we were all getting ready at the same time. Our only feedback is that the pillows were a little hard and……

“Neat & clean, this small home was perfect for my friend and me. It's located on a farm in a farming community, but being winter, the animals were not in evidence. We did hear the ubiquitous farm dog from time to time. Love it!”

“The property has a fully equipped kitchen with nice dinner and cookware. There's special decoration touches throughout. The large TV in the living room is very convenient. It's only a 5 minute drive from Penn National. Very convenient location. ”

“This property was comfortable with lots of little extras to make the stay pleasant. The location was a quick drive to Chambersburg to grab some groceries/carry out or to walk the rail trail. Or you can drive a little further to Shippensburg or Caledonia. The kitchen was well equipped, the oven and stove worked well, and we found some basics in the pantry...plus some extras like a great pancake mix! We found the two larger beds to be comfortable and there are lots of blankets to choose from to……
