Smart simple studio...fully fenced for privacy and small dogs. -FREE WIFI AND NETFLIX.
-Waters edge 5 minute walk from property on Sackville street. Surfboard available in your wee shed. Walk down Sackville towards the sea, walk left down the steps to walkway and beach.
-Close to the great things in life.. sea surf and golf and shopping( 7 minute from gate to tee, 2 minutes to the shopping till)
-Fabulous boutique shopping, wine bar, sports bar plus good old fish n chips.
-Newly acquired air fryer mini oven.

My home is at the front of the property. Please enter the studio unit through the black front gate then down the driveway to STUDIO 22.

Disappointed
We found the location quiet and garden attractive. The bathroom was in need of upkeep, i.e. shower floor and a new quiet heater would be good. Bed comfortable. We were disappointed and upset to find old food in the microwave. This was on the last day and we hadn't used the microwave throughout our stay. This was an unpleasant discovery.

Close to parkrun
We enjoyed our stay. Handy to the coastal pathway and the East End parkrun. We had stunning weather, but cold and the studio was very cosy. The wifi was not strong enough to cast the rugby to the TV, which was a shame.

Peaceful and Private
A lovely quiet space to relax and unwind. Situated within the owner's property so we felt very safe. The room has a lovely comfy and warm bed, and there was everything we needed. An easy stroll to the beach. Would definitely return.

Nicely presented studio in quiet area very close to the beach. Small kitchenette perfectly adequate for preparing a meal, if required, with new Air Fryer and microwave. Great shower and comfortable bed. Fantastic location for cyclists and walkers wanting to do the coastal walkway. Tropical garden was very attractive. Studio 22 was excellent value.

great value with everything you need
came to new plymouth for the tattoo and art festival which was only a couple minutes drive away. The beach was a nice bonus and when the clouds clear there is great views of mount taranaki at the end of the street. the studio itself was great value with excellent privacy and everything you could really need, would definitely stay again.

Studio 22
We thoroughly enjoyed our Matariki 2023 long weekend stay at Studio 22. The property is compact, well resourced in terms of cutlery, crockery and cooking facilities. There is a mini bar fridge which fulfilled our needs for the weekend. The bedlinen was fresh, clean and plentiful to keep us northerners warm overnight. Outside the unit we had access to a little table and outdoor chairs which were used despite it being winter there is access to washing lines which are conveniently covered so that things could dry even in the rain. The owner was very easy to communicate with as she was prompt and professional. Would we stay there again? The answer would be yes of course.
