Quiet hotel, good for families with kids, close to French Quarter, breakfast is delicious, colorful drugged out characters on the block between the hotel and the French Quarter, beds were comfortable, bathrooms need updating - no fan ventilation with lots of mold and mildew and water dripping down from the ceiling, room service is every other day, hotel staff was friendly except for one front desk employee who did not put in my request for a roll of toilet paper 3 times within 4 hours. On my 3rd attempt to get a roll of toilet paper, the hotel manager was present and the employee interrupted our conversation to tell me to go use a public restroom. I responded that the comment was inappropriate and I should not have to use a public restroom when I’ve paid for a room for a week and I’ve been asking for a roll of tp for 4 hours. Within 5 minutes we had our roll of relief tp. The next morning, the manager spoke with me in the breakfast area and apologized and let me know the employee had never entered my 3 requests into the system. I let him know I had already emailed corporate about the employee’s comment. I hope they fire the employee. The manager was great. Other than that small issue we enjoyed our stay.
