The hotel was beautiful and thoughtfully decorated. It was very clean and staff were generally very professional. It was in a great location where the main street is literally a minute away. They had a really nice breakfast spread every morning. Our only complaint was the bathroom smelled alittle of sewage but we got used to it.

The value was very good and the breakfast choices at their rooftop restaurant abundant. The property has a beautiful indoor cave area pool and sauna which we did not use. It has a few open air roof decks and beautiful courtyards from which to enjoy the scenery of Goreme. The bed was comfortable. The staff is attentive and kind. All in all a great experience.
The only downsides were some aspects of our room… hot water was warm and not hot, the AC blows directly on the bed so it was difficult to get comfortable, the safe was too tiny to hold anything larger then a passport, and there were too few working outlets (adapters would fall out of some of the outlet) that worked for recharging laptops and phones for two people. These issues may have only existed in our room. While inconvenient, these issues would not put us off from recommending the property. It is a good property with a great breakfast, amenities and location.

May 20 check in the afternoon evening we went for dinner at the hotel restaurant! We finished dinner and my husband asked for his jacket which the restaurant staff had taken to put at the back while we had dinner. For some reason, initially the staff could not locate the jacket and it is fine, we were patient about it and told them to check maybe in the back somewhere. Then all of a sudden, another staff working at the restaurant entered the conversation and started saying that we are lying and
That my husband never brought the jacket. He said that he can show us in the cctv. He was extremely rude to us and specially me. It was a big scene in front of 50 plus guests. I asked the person if he was joking and he specifically said he was NOT. Anyways, in the meantime other staff members located the jacket and brought it to us. I asked the aggressive waiter politely may I know your name , at which point he completely lost it. He came up close to me and evaded personal space showing his badg

And a very very threatening behavior
The other staff had to intervene and pull him away
And took us ouy
I can obviously not stay at a property after such threatening and aggressive behavior. I truly believe our safety was at risk and we decided to change the hotel
The reception staff said they would reach out to us but to this day there has been no communication

I would expect Expedia takes this very seriously
And just so you know i am so traumatized by all this

We had room 50. I was expecting a stone room but ours was wood and very dark. The lighting was poor.
We were close to the terrace and outdoor restaurant and the music was loud on occasions and we needed to ring reception one nigh to turn it down as we had a 3.45am start.
We were underneath the bar area and had to put up with metal chairs scaping on the ground above us at all hours.
The bed and pillows were comfortable and a robe and slippers were supplied together with toiletries which were replaced every day.
The hotel is ideally located for balloon watching. They fly over the hotel.

We loved our stay at this hotel!
The location was fantastic and the standards were excellent. The whole place was immaculate and couldn't be faulted.
We stayed in a duplex suite and it was stunning.
All staff were incredibly polite and helpful, especially Fatma, who works at the restaurant during breakfast hours.
Would 100% recommend this to all to experience for yourselves!

A hotel worthy of 5 stars. I had an excellent stay at the Carus Cappadocia hotel. It's well located (in the center of town and close to restaurants and stores).
The spa: The spa section is breathtaking (don't forget to bring your swimsuit). The pool is heated and it's a quiet place. Perfect for relaxing. There's also a sona.
Room: I had a noise problem with my room (next to the street and under the restaurant) and they offered me another one the next morning.
Restaurant: The restaurant has a breathtaking view of Göreme. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of cheeses, vegetables, olives, salads, pastries, breads and omelettes. The restaurant also offers a variety of coffees.
I had excellent service. I highly recommend this hotel.
Tip: if you're sensitive to noise, ask for a room away from the street and the restaurant. Room 50 is very quiet :)

I stayed for two nights at Carus Capadoccia and really loved the place and the room.
The staff were great, especially the restaurant staff where I ate breakfast and dinner both days.
I stayed in the Carus Suite which was very spacious and comfortable.
I’d definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend it for anyone visiting Capadoccia.
If you’re not staying in the hotel, then I highly recommend dining at the restaurant.

Vanaf dat wij binnenkwamen werden bij zeer goed behandeld. Mooie hotel. Prachtige ligging. Dichtbij centrum. Schone kamers. Heerlijke ontbijt. Vriendelijke medewerkers vooral Fatma van het restaurant. Kortom zeer leuke tijd gehad. Ik raad het zeker aan om hier te verblijven.
