“ One of the declining number of traditional 3/4 star village/small town hotels that are being replaced by the bland massive chains The staff were brilliant, especially Head Waitor Luc who was charming, interesting and very helpful. The village with its castle is very run down with a large derelict hospital, numerous closed hotels and empty shops, but still worth a visit as a stop over.”

“We needed to break our drive to Paris and we were so lucky to find this authentic country hotel outside of Moulins. It has a charming eclectic decor and lovely owners. We had a good evening meal and breakfast and a comfortable nights sleep. Would definitely stay again. ”

“What a perfect stay! Lovely room, warm and welcoming hostess and delicious breakfast. My husband is still racing about the scrambled eggs he enjoyed. The owners take great pride in the château and are very knowledgeable about the history thereof. We were offered breakfast in our room or the common area. We did not eat dinner there( long day of driving and too tired to enjoy a lovely meal). Comfortable and well appointed room with a lovely bathroom and robes. I would highly recommend……
